Easily Find Thousands Of Keywords With A New Longtail Keyword Research Tool!

Keyword ResearcherI need to begin today’s article with both an apology and a huge thank you. The reason I owe the apology is because Tony (a Fellow TKA member hooked me up with his new keyword research tool so that I could try it out and I told him that I would publish a post here at socialmediaspringboard.com about it.

I’m not usually one for making excuses but I’m going to this time. The reason I haven’t gotten around to writing a post about this amazing long tail keyword research tool is because I’ve been pretty much using it during every spare minute that I’ve had. Do You Really Know Who Your Website Is Linking To?

MaskToday I would like to ask how many of you know who you link out to from your websites? Most of you probably have a few links in your blogroll and you probably link out to relevant websites from time to time when you are writing new posts so you probably “think” you know who you’re linking out to.

I did too until yesterday when I decided to scan one of my websites with a tool called Xenu Link Sleuth. This is a free link scanning tool that you download and install on your computer. Once it’s installed, you can enter the URL of your website and it will seek out all of the links on your site. It will even tell you whether you have broken links or strange redirected links on your site.

How To Install The Official Twitter Widget In WordPress

Twitter BirdToday I’ll be sharing some of my WordPress Jedi skills with you and showing you how to add the official Twitter widget to your website. If you’re not familiar with the widget that I’m talking about, take a peek in the right hand sidebar of this website and look at the widget that is labeled, “Philia On Twitter”.

Adding twitter widgets to your sites is a great way to show your readers that you are active on Twitter. When they realize this, they just might follow you and this could result in them visiting your website again when they read your future tweets.

This project is a really easy one. Even if you’re very new to WordPress, you can add the Twitter widget to your site in just a few short minutes. You’re not going to be installing a plugin, you’re going to be getting some JavaScript directly from Twitter and pasting into WordPress.

The Power Of Follow Friday and Being Mentioned On Twitter Via The @mention Feature

#FFToday while I was enjoying a well deserved break from working on my websites, I popped into The Keyword Academy forum and discovered that one of the members had asked a question about “Follow Friday” on Twitter.

I happened to be working on this post that was originally going to just be to explain what an @mention on Twitter is but since the question came up, it seemed fitting to incorporate it into this post.
